Hunter Education Courses

HUNTER EDUCATION COURSE 

Spring course is Sunday April 8th, 2018 and Sunday April 22nd, 2018.

Fall course is September 9th, 2018 and September 23rd, 2018.

Vermont Fish and Wildlife Spring & Fall Two-day Hunter Education Course

First-time hunters must successfully complete a Hunter Education course in order to purchase their first license. The course is FREE, including materials, and is open to all ages and experience.  Full attendance on both days and completion of the workbook prior to the start of the second day is mandatory.  Both days will run from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Pre-registration by calling Bob or Mary Raskevitz at 802-728-9582 is required.  Students are to dress according to the weather, bring a lunch, something to write on and something to write with and on the second day must bring the completed workbook with them.  Parents and families are encouraged to participate with their children.  There is a limit to the number of students able to register and the course generally fills up quickly.

 

BOW-HUNTER EDUCATION COURSE 

Fall course is August 26th, 2018

Vermont Fish and Wildlife Bow-Hunter Education course

First-time bow-hunters must successfully complete a Bow-Hunter Education course in order to purchase their first bow and arrow license.  The Bow-Hunter Education course will run from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Pre-registration by calling Bob or Mary Raskevitz at 802-728-9582 is required.  Students are to dress according to the weather, bring a lunch, something to write on and something to write with and if available a bow and arrows in safe, well functioning condition.  We will have bows and arrows available for participants unable to bring their own.  There is a limit to the number of students able to register and the course generally fills up quickly.
